Easy Pay Terms and Conditions

Easy Pay Plan

The Easy Pay auto-renew plan makes being a member even simpler. Easy Pay eases the financial pressure sometimes associated with Club Membership by offering payment via installments and as your membership will rollover automatically into the next season, it is an effortless and convenient way to continue your Melbourne Football Club Membership. Easy Pay offers upfront payments and monthly installments.

Joining Made Easy

Easy pay is the default payment method for all 2025 Melbourne Football Club Memberships. You may choose to pay via monthly installments or via annual installments that are rolled over each year. If you wish to opt out of easy pay, you must contact the club by phone or email, or mention it to your Melbourne membership officer when processing your membership.

Annual Upfront payment: At no additional cost to you, you can opt to provide your debit/credit card details for an upfront payment to be transacted at the commencement of each annual renewal period (October 24th), saving you the hassle of renewing each year. Installment is taken on October 24 2024, or on receipt of your application.

Monthly Payments: We have two monthly plans available; a 10-month plan available for those who like to renew early, and a 6-month plan for those who join us just prior to, or during, the football season.

At no additional cost to you, we divide your annual membership fee into 10 easy installments (November to August) or 6 installments (March to August) that are charged to your nominated VISA or MasterCard each month over 10 or 6 months. VISA Debit Card and Debit MasterCard are also accepted. Payments commence upon receipt of your application, or on November 1st for rolling payment plans. Payments commencing after March 1st or November 1st will have a catch-up payment to bring payments up to date with regular monthly payments. Members on the 6-month plan will roll onto the 10-month plan the following season.

AFLW memberships are included in the Annual Upfront (October) or Monthly (starting November) payment plans for the following season despite the current season being in progress at the time of rollover.

  2. By signing on an Easy Pay auto-renewal plan, you authorise Melbourne Football Club to arrange a transfer of funds from your nominated debit/credit card in amounts and at intervals as advised.
  3. Members can only opt out of the Easy Pay auto-renewal plan at the conclusion of their last instalment and the first instalment for the following season by notifying the club either in writing or via email to membership@melbournefc.com.au. All outstanding payments must be complete at time of opting out.
  4. Members will be given at least 14 days’ notice in writing of changes in the new amount of their next season's membership.
  5. The first instalment will be withdrawn upon receipt of your application, if paying monthly; further payments will be withdrawn on the 1st business day of each following month. If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 1st business day of the month, further attempts will be made to attempt to clear the fund transfer.
  6. Members applying for the Easy Pay auto-renewal plan after the first scheduled payment will have the number of required payments deducted to bring them up to date with the schedule and then subsequent payments at each specified date (as detailed in the above table).
  7. If your debit is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, contact will be made with you by phone or letter requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable by you.
  8. Melbourne Football Club may suspend or cancel your membership if, on two consecutive occasions, your drawing is dishonoured by your financial institution.
  9. Your membership can be reinstated upon payment of overdue amounts and resumption of regular debits. Please note that at least 24 hours will be needed to reinstate your membership once payment is received.
  10. It is your responsibility to ensure that: (a) the account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change within the payment period; (b) you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled drawing date.
  11. If your membership is suspended or cancelled, you will not be able to gain access to games, including the finals series.
  12. If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact the Melbourne Football Club Membership Department on (03) 9652 1155. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for drawing.
  13. Members will not be provided with reminders or invoices for their auto-renewal installments.
