Terms and Conditions – Easy Pay Prize Draw
By entering the Easy Pay Prize Draw, you agree to the following conditions:
1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Promoter is Melbourne Football Club (ABN 27 005 686 902 13) of 120 Brunton Ave, Melbourne Cricket Ground, East Melbourne 8002.
Eligibility
3. Entry is open to Melbourne Football Club members residing in Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia who sign up to Easy Pay between Wednesday 17 August 2022 and 5pm Friday 14 October 2022
4. The promotion commences at 1:00 pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 17 August, 2022 and closes at 5.00pm Friday 14 October, 2022 (Promotion Period).
Competition entry
5. To enter the draw, Eligible Entrants must complete the following step during the Promotion Period:
i. opt-in to the upfront or monthly payment plan using the typeform provided in the email sent to members on Wednesday 17 August, 2022
6. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and will be rejected. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry where it reasonably suspects that such materials are prohibited by these terms and conditions, any relevant law, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate. This is at the Promoter's absolute discretion and discussions will not be entered into.
7. Privacy Notice: The Promoter will collect your personal information so you can enter, and they can administer, this promotion. Your personal information is required for The Promoter to contact you in the event that your entry is deemed the winning entry. The Promoter may also use your information for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoter and its related corporate bodies for these purposes. 8. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction of any communications network or any lost, late, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entries, howsoever caused.
The draw
9. The winning Eligible Entrants will be drawn Tuesday 25 October 2022 at MCG, Brunton Ave, East Melbourne, 3002. Winners will be selected using an online random number generator tool.
The prize
10. The winners (5) will be notified by email and phone, on the day of the draw, using contact details on the members account.
11. In the event that the winner is unable to be contacted, and all reasonable methods of communication are unsuccessful, alternative winners will be chosen from the pool of Eligible Entrants. The prizes offered by this Competition remain the property of the Promoter until claimed by each respective prize winner.
12. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
15. Promoter holds no responsibility for incorrect or insufficient details provided by the entrant. Should an entrant’s details change, it is the responsibility of the entrant to provide these details to the Promoter.
16. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize.
17. There are five (5) prizes available, which will be drawn in the following order:
- Prize 1: $5,000
- Prize 2: $2,500
- Prize 3: $1,000
- Prize 4: $500
- Prize 5: $250
18. Entrant’s consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, voice and/or social media posts content in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome).
19. If any act, omission, event, or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
20. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, including but not limited to any breach of these terms and conditions, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties.
21. Prizes will be paid of the winners within 28 days of the prize draw.
