Terms & Conditions

All Melbourne Football Club ‘Buy 2027, pay $1 for 2026 Campaign Offer’ purchasers, receive General Admission access (or Reserved Seat/Bay in the case of these membership options being selected) to our Round 22 match v Fremantle and Round 24 match v Western Bulldogs at the MCG. They also receive member priority access to purchase weeks 1-4 finals ticketing if the Melbourne Football Club are competing in the 2026 Toyota AFL Final Series. Offers are subject to the following terms and conditions. By taking up the ‘Buy 2027, pay $1 for 2026 Campaign Offer’ you register as a Melbourne Football Club member and you agree to be bound to these terms and conditions.

1. Definitions

"Melbourne Football Club" refers to the Melbourne Football Club Limited ACN 005 686 902;

"Home-and-away season" refers to the Melbourne Football Club home and away matches only. It excludes all pre-season and Toyota AFL finals and Grand Final matches.

“The 2027 Melbourne Football Club membership” refers to a membership that provides benefits and entitlements throughout the 2027 home-and-away season only. If the Melbourne Football Club do qualify for any 2027 Toyota AFL Finals in weeks 1-4 or the 2027 Toyota AFL Grand Final, some Melbourne Football Club memberships do provide benefits including priority access to purchase tickets.

"Member" means a person who has joined and fully paid for a membership with Melbourne Football Club for the duration of the membership in the applicable AFL season.

"MCG" means the Melbourne Cricket Ground, East Melbourne, VIC

2. Terms & Conditions

1. These conditions apply to the Melbourne Football Club ‘Buy 2027, pay $1 for 2026 Campaign Offer’ only. By purchasing a membership in connection with the campaign, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. The Melbourne Football Club ‘Buy 2027, pay $1 for 2026 Campaign Offer’ is a promotional membership offer whereby a person subscribed for a 2027 Melbourne Football Club Membership obtains the right to General Admission access (or in some product categories Reserved Seat or Reserved Bay) to the following two Melbourne Football Club home games subject to availability and these Terms & Conditions. The home games included are:

• Saturday August 8 | Melbourne Football Club v Fremantle | 1.15pm at MCG

• August 21 – 23 (Date & Time TBC) | Melbourne Football Club v Western Bulldogs | at MCG

• Priority access to purchase finals ticketing in weeks 1-4 only in the event Melbourne Football Club are participating in the 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series.

3. By accepting the Melbourne Football Club ‘Buy 2027, pay $1 for 2026 Campaign Offer’ the Member commits to purchasing the 2027 Membership product selected at checkout.

4. Payment for the Melbourne Football Club ‘Buy 2027, pay $1 for 2026 Campaign Offer’ must be made by a credit or debit card nominated by the Member at the time of accepting the offer. Card details will be held by us (or our membership platform provider) and the Member authorises us to deduct/charge future payments from the nominated card. At the time of accepting the offer, a charge of $1 per Melbourne Football Club Membership Package will be deducted from the nominated credit or debit card. This payment will entitle the member to their 2026 Membership.

5. Members who accept this offer will be charged the 2027 retail price of the membership product they selected. Depending on the membership category and payment plan selected, the payment will be charged on 26 October 2026 (upfront) or 4 November 2026 (monthly) via the chosen payment method. Renewal will also occur on or around the same period each year for subsequent seasons on this date (i.e. renewed for the equivalent membership category and seat/s). Members will have an opt out option for 2028 in the 2027 season.

6. Once the Member selects their desired membership product, they are purchasing for the 2027 home-and-away season at the time of accepting the ‘Buy 2027, pay $1 for 2026 Campaign Offer’. No further payment reminders or payment correspondence will be forwarded by us to the Member. We will send a Payment Confirmation, via email, to the Member following the balance being charged to the Member’s nominated credit card on 26 October 2026 (upfront) or 4 November (monthly) at the time of auto-renewal.

7. Existing Members will have the opportunity to upgrade their Membership through the campaign by paying $1 and selecting an available product. The newly purchased membership will replace their existing membership for the remainder of 2026 (note no change to Grand Final priority group) and into 2027 with all other applicable campaign Terms & Conditions also applying.

8. Any Member who selects a 2027 Premium Reserved Seat Product will have their seat allocated by the Melbourne Football Club membership department.

9. Any Member purchasing a Reserved Seat of Reserved Bay Membership as part of the campaign will not receive a 2026 Grand Final Guarantee.

10. Cancellation

(A) By purchasing a membership as part of the campaign, you acknowledge that the 2026 membership is provided by the Melbourne Football Club at the cost of $1 on condition that you also purchase a 2027 Melbourne Football Club membership.

(B) In the event that you cancel your membership prior to Melbourne Football Club receiving payment for your 2027 Melbourne Football Club membership, you acknowledge and agree that you will be liable to pay a cancellation fee of $50, and that Melbourne Football Club are authorised to charge this amount to the debit or credit card nominated by you at the time of accepting the offer.

(C) You acknowledge that such cancellation fee is fair and reasonable in the circumstances, and is intended to compensate Melbourne Football Club for the loss it has or is likely to suffer as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to membership fees and lost revenue from seats provided at below market value (which is done in reliance on your compliance with these Terms & Conditions).
