Following are the terms and conditions of The Demon Army – the official cheer squad of the Melbourne Football Club. Benefits and conditions of membership are subject to change and are at the discretion of the Melbourne Football Club.
General
Access to Reserved Seats for ticketed/interstate matches
Access to Finals tickets
Family membership can consist of two adults and up to four children under 15 years of age (as at 1 January 2022).
For General Admission memberships, the combination of up to 2 youths (15+ years of age and under 17 years of age as at 1 January 2022) and 2-3 juniors (under 15 years of age as at 1 January 2022) is also available.
For Reserved Seat memberships, children 15+ will be required to purchase a concession membership, if applicable.
The following concession card holders are eligible to purchase a concession membership: Pension card (aged/single parent/disability); Student card (full-time) or enrolment papers confirming full time status; or Veterans Affairs card. Health Care or Health Benefit cards do not qualify.
Concession identification must be produced at the time of attending games.
*Please note that all junior members who have turned 15 since the 2022 season will automatically be upgraded to youth members.
To be eligible for a junior membership, children must be under 15 years of age as at 1 January 2022. Children over 5 years of age will need to obtain a Young Demon membership if they wish to be eligible to purchase finals tickets. Member and Supporter Services may request proof of age identification (copy of birth certificate or passport etc.)
Melbourne reserved seat holders from 2021 have until Tuesday, 30th November 2021 to renew their same reserved seats for 2022. After this date, all reserved seats that have not been renewed will be released for general sale and it cannot be guaranteed that you will be able to obtain the same seat from the 2021 season.
Absentee Memberships are available as an option for members who wish to continue their consecutive years of membership. Please contact Membership Services on 1300 Demons (1300 336 667) for further information.
The Premium Members’ areas in the Olympic and Southern Stands are the best place to watch Melbourne home games. These guidelines are designed to ensure everyone enjoys their day at the football.
Week 1 Qualifying / Elimination Finals; Week 2 – Semi Finals; Week 3 – Preliminary Finals.
Melbourne Football Club match-access members are given priority access (over non-members) to purchase a ticket to finals during the first three weeks of the finals series*.
AFL Finals matches are administered by the AFL with the core advantage to Melbourne Football Club members being a priority access period for the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the game* before the general public. The priority access period is also extended to members of the other competing club.
Neither the Club nor its members have the same rights as they receive for the Home and Away games – 2022 reserved seat members will be unable to retain their annual reserved seat for the finals series.
To be eligible for finals tickets you must join as a member before 31 July 2022. Note: These arrangements are subject to change.

The sale of AFL Grand Final tickets is administered and managed by the AFL.
Tickets will be made available to Melbourne Football Club members on a priority basis depending on the membership type held.*
The order of allocation of Grand Final Tickets to Melbourne members will be as follows:
All finals information will be communicated to members in the lead up to the 2022 Finals Series and advertised nationally by the AFL.
To be eligible for a Grand Final ticket you must join as a member before 31 July 2022.

Terms and Conditions - Reward & Recognition
By entering the Reward & Recognition promotion, you agree to the following conditions:
1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Promoter is Melbourne Football Club (ABN 27 005 686 902 13) of 120 Brunton Ave, Melbourne Cricket Ground, East Melbourne 8002.
Eligibility
3. Entry is open to Melbourne Football Club members who have been a consecutive member of the football club for 5+ years excluding directors, management, employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and third parties associated with this promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. The promotion commences at 10:00 am (AEDT) on Thursday 24 March, 2022 and closes at 11:59 pm (AEDT) on Monday 4 April, 2022 (Promotion Period).
Competition entry
5. To enter the draw, Eligible Entrants must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period:
i. visit the competition page at the following link.
ii. fill out all mandatory fields listed on the competition page in a truthful and accurate manner.
6. All entries via the online form must include the Entrant’s contact details including full name, phone number and email address so they can be contacted if they are a prize winner.
7. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and will be rejected. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry where it reasonably suspects that such materials are prohibited by these terms and conditions, any relevant law, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate. This is at the Promoter's absolute discretion and discussions will not be entered into.
8. Privacy Notice: The Promoter will collect your personal information so you can enter, and they can administer, this promotion. Your personal information is required for The Promoter to contact you in the event that your entry is deemed the winning entry. The Promoter may also use your information for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoter and its related corporate bodies for these purposes. 9. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction of any communications network or any lost, late, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entries, howsoever caused.
The draw
10. The winning Eligible Entrant will be drawn 1 business day (Tuesday 5 April, 2022) after the competition closes at MCG, Brunton Ave, East Melbourne, 3002. Winner will be selected using an online random number generator tool.
The prize
11. The winners (4) will be notified by email and phone, on the day of the draw, using contact details provided in their entry.
12. In the event that the winner is unable to be contacted, and all reasonable methods of communication are unsuccessful, alternative winners will be chosen from the pool of Eligible Entrants. The prizes offered by this Competition remain the property of the Promoter until claimed by each respective prize winner.
13. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize.
15. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash and if for any reason whatsoever, a prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize to another prize of the same or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation.
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
17. Promoter holds no responsibility for incorrect or insufficient details provided by the entrant. Should an entrant’s details change, it is the responsibility of the entrant to provide these details to the Promoter.
18. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize.
19. There are four (4) prizes available, which will be drawn in the following order:
20. Prize winners must provide a postal address to The Promoter at the time of being notified that they are a prize winner.
21. The prize is not redeemable for cash or other goods and services, and can not be on-sold.
22. Entrant’s consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, voice and/or social media posts content in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome).
23. If any act, omission, event, or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
24. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, including but not limited to any breach of these terms and conditions, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties.
